Does the "replication and duplication" of reps in MLM cause there to be too much competition?

Some people complain that it saturates the market too fast and doesn't set territorial restrictions, which "hurts people in smaller towns and rural areas."  Being from a small town myself, I'd like to weigh in.

In my view, network marketing may actually be one of the BEST opportunities for people in small towns and rural areas, because it gives them limitless opportunity to earn income from outside of their small jurisdiction -- even earning global income.
