Network Marketing Will Never Saturate – Prove Me Wrong

Tim Sales Network Marketing Power Market Saturation

If you’re following my videos, you know there’s an anti-MLM YouTuber named Kylie going around trying to discredit and publicly embarrass networkers.

This week, Kylie plays a rep’s video, who is talking about her company’s fast growth rate…

And then Kylie spouts off, “If your company is growing at 100% rate, that means that your pool of people you can recruit is also decreasing at a 100% rate.”  ? Hmmm…

How would you respond to that? Here’s what I had to say…

First, her math is wrong.

Growth is measured in sales dollars.

And your prospect pool (customer or rep) is measured in people.

If your company doubles in size (100% growth rate), say from 1000 to 2000 people, that hardly puts a dent in a “prospect pool” in which your target market might have millions of people.

Second, this woman has blown up her channel and her popularity by disparaging others.

And I take issue with that.

I know who she’s read – she’s talking about saturation theory, which is something that has been theorized (but never proven) for at least 20 years now.

For years, MLM skeptics have been saying if you get too many reps, the market will saturate.

But that’s not how the real world works.

That’s a silly mathematical argument that doesn’t hold up in practice.

By getting one customer (or rep), you don’t necessarily deplete your customer pool by one, because your customer pool is constantly evolving.  It’s not a zero sum game.

People are constantly being born, others are dying.

And depending on your product, their age might matter.  If you sell weight loss, for example, people might decide one day to lose weight, and suddenly be “in your target market” whereas they weren’t the day before.

Saturation theory, at a minimum, hasn’t happened yet.  And at a maximum, is completely false.

I’d love to know your thoughts.  Have you ever seen a company get totally saturated in the market?  Leave me a comment and let me know your thoughts.
