Will Network Marketing Make You a Millionaire


Will network marketing make you a millionaire? Or better yet, will your network marketing company make you a millionaire?
The answer is an emphatic NO. And the reason is because that’s not who is giving you the money.
I get there may be many who will not agree with me on this point and say it’s definitely the network marketing company. But let me tell you why a network marketing company is not going to make you a millionaire.
Get Customers, Get Paid
In order for you to make money, you have to serve the person who is handing over their money and saying, “I think my life is going to be made better because of this product or because of this business.” That’s the concept I want you to think about.
You have to serve someone in order to ever receive any money.
Whether it be a million dollars or one dollar, you get to serve someone.
How Customers Are Acquired
So how do you serve someone? Well, you serve someone by doing the steps in the Pipeline, that you may have seen a few thousand times now if you’ve been following my content over the last few years.
The end result of the Pipeline is getting and serving the customer. I have never served a customer that I first, didn’t show a presentation to; every customer always saw something. About half the time I had to follow up with them to close the sale.
And in order to do a presentation I had to contact the person. In some cases, I would contact them and set an appointment to meet someplace, like a coffee shop.
And before I could contact them, I had to generate the lead; whether it was opening up my cell phone or running an ad in a newspaper or on social media.
In essence, doing the steps in the Pipeline is the very best millionaire maker there is, because it is where the transaction occurs. Serve the customer, receive money.
When you do the steps in the Pipeline enough times, and it equals $1,000… $10,000, $100,000 … a million dollars… whatever it is that you want to earn, the only thing that is ever going to make you any money is when a customer decides his or her life is going to be made better by what you can offer, and the customer pulls out the wallet and buys something.
In any corporation, the CEO only gets paid because someone’s out there doing the Pipeline for that CEO. The customers are the inflow to the company.
The successful application of the Pipeline is the primary way to become a millionaire. The more people you have doing the Pipeline with you, the more likely you will become a millionaire.
What does that mean? If I am capable of generating a lead, contacting and setting appointments, doing presentations, following up, getting customers, and serving them, then I’ll make money.
And if I teach someone to do the same, then I am multiplying my effort.
The Power of Working the Pipeline Together
Now in the scenario of teaching and training a person to get customers, I don’t make as much as the person I’m training; and I shouldn’t, but I should get some percentage because I trained them.
I have observed that when I am doing the Pipeline, and other people are doing the Pipeline with me as well, it accumulates to a large number of people all doing the Pipeline, right?
Here’s a great example of how the money you can make correlates with the number of people doing the Pipeline together.
In Network Marketing vs Real Estate, I showed with data that the quantity of people doing the Pipeline together is the reason that more people make money. Just like a leader in Network Marketing, the real estate broker makes more money than the agent because the broker has multiple people doing the Pipeline.
But the interesting thing to note is that 11 times more people earn $100,000 in Network Marketing than in real estate because there’s more people doing the pipeline. So, the more people you have doing the Pipeline with you, the more likely you will become a millionaire.
My recommendation to you would be to focus on the journey of learning how to do the Pipeline and then do quantity across the Pipeline. Get to the point where you and your team are moving higher and higher quantities across the Pipeline.
My Goal For This Year
Someone recently asked me, “Tim, what is your goal for this year?”
And I said, “I go with the same goal that I always have. If I ever want to double my income, I’m going to double the quantity of leads across the pipeline. That is always what my goal is.”
And it’s a very simple game once you’ve figured out the columns across the Pipeline and how to do it; there is a journey.
I’m not promising that you will make a million dollars.
I will promise you, that you will make more money the higher the quantity you put through the Pipeline.
That law is always consistent.
